Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern purchases made on nicolekirkpatrick.com, operated by NK Soap, LLC (Nicole Jesse-Kirkpatrick) ("we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Products & pricing

All product descriptions, ingredients, and prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and do not include applicable sales tax or shipping, which are calculated and shown at checkout.

2. Order acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, errors in pricing or product information, or unavailability of stock. If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, we will issue a full refund for the cancelled portion.

3. Payment

Payment is processed securely at checkout through our checkout provider, Snipcart, which routes the actual card charge to our payment processor, Square. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

4. Handmade product variation

Our soap is handmade in small batches. Natural variation in color, scent strength, weight, shape, and surface texture from bar to bar and batch to batch is normal and is not considered a defect.

5. Allergen & ingredient disclaimer

Our products may contain tree nut derived oils, such as coconut oil, essential oils, fragrance oils, botanicals, and clays. It is the buyer's responsibility to review the full ingredient list provided on each product page before purchasing. We are not liable for allergic reactions resulting from a buyer's failure to review ingredients or known sensitivities.

6. Not a medical or drug product

Our soap is a cosmetic product intended for external cleansing use only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and no claims on this Site should be interpreted as medical advice. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if irritation occurs.

7. Returns & refunds

Your satisfaction matters to us. Full returns are accepted. If you're not happy with your order for any reason, reach out and we'll make it right. If your order arrives damaged, contact us right away with a photo of the damage and we'll take care of you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NK Soap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or this Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
